THRACE, Perinthus. Time of Claudius and Nero. Æ 19mm (6.12 gm). HPA across field, turreted bust of Tyche left, sceptre before / ΠΕΡΙΝ−ΘΙΩΝ, herm, amphora and palm tied with a fillet. RPC 1763 var. VF, green patina. Very Rare. ($250) RPC makes no mention of the obverse letters; perhaps the specimens studied were too weak, or perhaps this is a new variety.
